Beyond Immune Defense
Every year, Thanksgiving comes with an abundance of food. This year, we also are be concerned about staying healthy during the COVID-19 pandemic. Because of this complicated situation, Beyond Natural has decided to shift focus to the week AFTER Thanksgiving with a detox and immune-boosting menu.
In case you don't know, detoxing, in short, is when unwanted toxins leave your body; during this process, the body is relieved of the harmful toxins and bacteria, leaving you energized and refocused. Some benefits from detoxing, according to Healthline.com, include but are not limited to: improved health, healthy weight loss, increase in vitamins, increased energy, and metabolism.
Because of the enormous dishes on Thanksgiving, we must come back after the holidays clean and ready to rock. In addition, with the spike in COVID-19 cases, we want to help boost your immune system to fight off the virus, the flu, and general sickness.
We have a menu loaded with vitamins to boost immune defenses. You will be stronger than before, and focus on your goals and going into the end of the year. Here at Beyond, we are all about staying focused on our goals; we want to help our clients eat healthily and remain 100 percent active. We all know that people love to eat on Thanksgiving, and we want to enjoy ourselves but come back stronger and more determined.
Beyond is here to guide you every step of the way heading into the Christmas holidays. Our detox and immune-boosting week will be for everyone who needs to be redirected after consuming an entire turkey (that will be me). Here at Beyond, we believe that now and then we should enjoy ourselves, so we encourage you to stay safe and eat well. Celebrating doesn't always mean eating healthy, though; that's why as soon as the festivities conclude, it's essential to come back and remain on track. We have created this detox for the week after Thanksgiving to clean out the system and rest, giving you a clean slate heading into the Christmas season.
You may be wondering what the detox includes and how it will work.
Our detox menu is filled with Vitamin A, which assists with the health of your intestines and respiratory system. Vitamin A is crucial heading into the flu season. Foods rich in vitamin A are carrots, sweet potatoes, spinach, broccoli, and red bell peppers.
We will also be filling your dishes with Vitamin E. This nutrient promotes free radicals' neutralization by working as an antioxidant. Foods full of vitamin E include vegetable oils, nuts, seeds, and avocado.
Last but not least, our all-time favorite -- PROTEIN. Protein promotes T-cell function, which are cells that protect the body against pathogens. Meats, some seafood, eggs, beans, and nuts will be your best allies.
When we consume these nutrients in moderation, they blend to fight off sickness and create a more robust immune defense system. They will fight off viruses and unhealthy bacteria. Beyond Natural is garnered to give you just that; take it from someone who eats for passion. I would not be recommending something I haven't tried or do every single day. So from all of us here at Beyond, stay safe, enjoy the holidays, and join us for a very vital and unique week of healthy eating.
